Golf at El Paraiso

El Paraiso is one of the few members Clubs in Southern Spain. Everyone is made welcome and there is a real feeling of camaraderie at the Club.

Sierra Park Club has been playing at El Paraiso for nearly twenty years, and we have seen the course and clubhouse improve dramatically over the last few years since the Club was bought by the members, and the head green keeper, who had previously worked at Valderrama, was appointed.

Competitions at El Paraiso Golf Club

There are two important four day competitions each year, to which Sierra Park Club owners and their guests are cordially invited. A different format each day includes singles and better ball stableford, and Texas Scramble.

The first takes place in the spring starting on Easter Monday and finishing on the following Friday, with Wednesday a rest day.

The autumn competition follows a similar format and normally takes place during Week 38 or 39. Check with office.

Both these competitions are much enjoyed and so well attended that those who do not enter have little chance of getting on the course before late evening.

We very strongly recommend residents of Sierra Park during these two weeks to enter and enjoy the golf and social events, as many have over the last few years. We would remind you that Sierra Park Club residents are full members of El Paraiso Golf Club.

For those of you who enjoy competitions, and do not own those weeks at Sierra Park, it would be well worth renting an apartment.
