Golf Information
Sierra Park Club has been open for over twenty years and has established close working relationships with many of the best golf courses on the Costa Del Sol. We have negotiated special discounted rates with all courses but predominantly collaborate with six excellent golf courses all within easy reach.
EL PARAISO
A parkland course located in a valley bordered by mountains with a view of the coast. Sierra Park Club has enjoyed an excellent relationship with El Paraiso over many years and it remains our most popular course.
Designed by Gary Player and opened in 1973, this great course offers expansive fairways, mature trees and lush surroundings within ample grounds. There is also a driving range and practice area on site plus the usual golf course facilities for golfers to enjoy. El Paraiso is one of the few members Clubs in Southern Spain.
ATALAYA
The Old course owes much of its charm and beauty to the fact that it was created back in 1968. Wide Bermuda fairways and gentle undulations create a user-friendly course we are delighted to have added to our golf package.
Everyone who plays at El Paraiso is made to feel very welcome and there is a real feeling of camaraderie at the club. Sierra Park Club has been associated and playing at El Paraiso for nearly twenty years. We have been privelidged to witness the efforts made by the staff over the last few years and have watched the course and the clubhouse improve dramatically.
El Paraiso is the most popular course amongst visitors to Sierra Park Club.
CABOPINO
With its coastal setting Cabopino enjoys some of the best sea views along the Costa del Sol. Two contrasting nines with an emphasis on accuracy being required for the front nine, before opening up to the back nine which contains a number of scenic water features.
Competitions at El Paraiso.
There are two, important four day competitions held every year at El Paraiso, to which Sierra Park Club guests are cordially invited.
A different format is run on each day and includes singles and better ball stableford, as well as Texas Scramble.
The first competition takes place in the Spring and usually starts on Easter Monday, finishing the following Friday. Wednesday is used as a rest day. The Autumn competition follows a similar format to the first and normally takes place during Week 38 or 39. Please check with us for confirmation of details.
CALANOVA
A great new par 72 course located in the Mijas golf valley. A challenging course with a number of elevated tees making buggy hire compulsory.
EL CHAPARRAL
A challenging and spectacular course surrounded by large pine trees located in one of the most beautiful settings on the coast.
Sierra Park Club runs its own competitions on Tuesdays and Fridays - The Sierra Park Pairs Competition and the Sierra Park Team Competition. Please contact us for more information.
La Quinta Golf
One of our courses located in the famous “Golf Valley”. La Quinta golf hosts three nine hole courses integrated into the natural surroundings and fully deserves its excellent reputation.
